    Hi talbeja02 and speckworks

We have received several reports of squares in Mac version of HH. You are not alone and I know several programmers have been working on updates to HH.

To help figure out where the problem might be, could you please let us know what versions of Mac OSX you are using (10.5.?/Leopard, 1.6.?/Snow Leopard, 10.7.?/Lion)

    Thanks

I'm having the same problem. I have mac os x 10.6.8

Thanks rflamburis, I'm also using 10.6.8 but haven't noticed that problem.

We might be into the area of keyboard setup or something.

If you (or any other user having this problem) could put a screenshot up somewhere and reference it here, I'd be grateful.

    Thanks

  • I had this issue as well on 10.7.3, but I remembered that I was running it from the image so I put it in /Applications and it worked.

10.6.8 here. I was having the same problem and I thought I had run mine from Applications, but it looks like that fix works because I just ran HH from Applications and problem is solved.

    cheers!

how do I open in applications. Tried moving hackety hack to applications and now when I open it, nothing happens.

    Hi talbeja

It's likely that moving to Applications should have fixed some of the problems (the squares problem is definitely a font-not-found problem)

As for nothing happening when you open it, what version of OS X are you using and does HH do anything at all when you start it? (icon bounce, then close, or simply never appear, or something else?)
