Can I learn to program without any prior experience in computer programming ??

Yep, you can!

Programming is a skill like any other - playing guitar, making jewelry, skiing (I'm useless at all 3) With some guidance and practice you can be as good at it as you wish to be.

If you have downloaded Hackety Hack and started working through the Lessons you will learn the basics of programming using the language ruby and the framework shoes. Then you can use what you learned (inputs, outputs, if/then, loops, calculations etc etc etc) in other programming languages.
