Whenever I try to install hacketyhack it fails saying ./hacketyhack: line 22: /tmp/selfgz413214245/hacketyhack-bin: No such file or directory
I tried extracting the archive and just running ./hacketyhack-bin and it fails saying ./hacketyhack-bin No such file or directory, although it's obviously there. I don't know what the problem is.

Hello wampshmack - this seems to be a common problem this month.
Please have a look at the Support area answer from a week ago (somewittyusername) which I've just suggested some symlinks.
Cheers

I saw that post, but I'm not having any such errors with ssl. It seems to simply be saying that the binary isn't there.

Yeah, sorry - I saw a similar error message and lumped it with the other libssl ones.
I'm digging a bit further to see if it's something Linux specific. I'll download Chakra Linux you mention and try it out with HH.
Cheers

Thanks for the rapid support. I'm thinking this may very well be a chakra problem, as obviously HH works on linux. Chakra seems to run a lot of non-standard versions of things, and the package manager is based on pacman; from arch linux, but seems to be somewhat stripped down. I find myself very often having to compile anything I want to install because it isn't in their repos. I really like chakra, but I may have to move on to something that's a more stable dev environment.

Hey, don't take away my reason to try another Linux! 8)
I like seeing what's new in Linux distros and I hadn't heard of chakra, so I'll see if my kids have left any download quota this month and try it.
